Mr. Jong graduated from the University of California at
Davis in 1978 earning a degree of Bachelor of Arts with
a major in International Relations. He earned his degree
of Juris Doctor from the University of California Hastings
College of Law in San Francisco in 1981 and has been a practitioner
in the area of workers’ compensation law since being
admitted as an Attorney at Law for the State of California
in 1981. Mr. Jong is a California State Bar Certified Workers’
Compensation Specialist since 1993. He is a member of the
California State Bar Workers’ Compensation Section and
of the Sacramento County Bar Association.
Mr. Jong has served
as a speaker in the area of workers’ compensation
law for such organizations as the California Continuing
Education of the Bar, the California Workers’ Compensation
Defense Attorneys Association, University of California
at Davis Extension Courses, and for numerous insurance claims
and employer based organizations. As a native Sacramentan,
Mr. Jong is pleased to reside in Sacramento with his wife
and family and grateful for the opportunity to raise his
children in the same community where he grew up. When away
from the practice of law, Mr. Jong enjoys watching baseball,
catching fish, and living vicariously through the accomplishments
of his two children. |
