Ms. Sawyer graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1984 (B.A.), and from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1992 (J.D., With Distinction). She was admitted to the California State Bar in 1993 and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California in 1997. Ms. Sawyer has been a practitioner of Workers' Compensation Defense since 2000, after having practiced as an applicant attorney in the Workers' Compensation system since 1998. She is a member of the California State Bar Association, Workers' Compensation Section.
