Michael Keenan Ward was born and raised in Placerville,
CA. Mike attended St. Mary’s College in Moraga, CA,
majoring in history. While there he also studied world politics
at Mills College in Oakland, CA. After graduating from St.
Mary’s he married his wife Francine and they have
three wonderful children.

Mike attended the University
of the Pacific McGeorge Law School, and worked as a hearing
officer for the California Department of Social Services.
After graduating in 1976, he worked for the law firm of
Hanna and Brophy. He is one of the co-founders of Cuneo,
Black, Ward & Missler.

Mike has been a Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation
since at least 1983. He is often asked to be a guest speaker
for various employer, insurance and attorney organizations.
He enjoys an AV rating in Martindale Hubbell. He has been
active in the community including being elected to the Gold
Oak School District Board.

In his retirement Mike enjoys protecting rice from ducks,
checking aquatic habitat for resident salmo gairdnerii,
exchanging little white balls in urban green belt areas
and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. |
